The Mega Masters of the Universe Castle Grayskull from nearly 3 years ago is now joined by the infamous lair of Eternia’s most wanted, Skeletor’s Snake Mountain. I know right? It has been a while but it is finally here, so you can complete your MOTU good versus evil setup.
Packing 3,802 pieces of pure evil, Mega Masters of the Universe Snake Mountain lets you recreate the sinister stronghold of Skeletor. It may be brick-built but it promised to deliver an awesome aesthetic and contains MOTU easter eggs.
TBH, it won’t be as fitting as the castle that is supposed to be built out of stones but it should be decent. I mean, after all, it is a mountain and the mountain is rocky, right?
Anyhoo, expect Snake Mountain standard issues like the demon head, the lavafall, prisoner shackles, the notorious Bone Throne, and more.
Like 2019’s buildable Castle Grayskull, the MEGA Construx Masters of the Universe Castle Grayskull is high on playability too – thanks in part to the galore of micro figures that include the evil mastermind and most memed MOTU character ever, Skeletor, along with his ragtag band of henchmen.
All told there are six posable figures, each with its own display stand and weapon(s).
The Mega Masters of the Universe Snake Mountain building set will go on sale on creations.mattel.com on July 9, 2022, at 9 AM PT. The asking price is US$321. Clearly, it is not cheap but definitely more affordable than the Super 7 set which went for bank-breaking US$599.99.
