Here’s The First Look At Threezero Transformers: Age Of Extinction Lockdown Prototype Figure

threezero Transformers AoE Lockdown Prototype Figure

Bounty hunter Lockdown from Transformers: Age of Extinction is the most underrated character. It has little to no love from toy makers. The fact that Hasbro did not do justice to the character with its toys did not make it any better. Regarding official collectibles, the character deserves more than a bust or fixed-pose statue. Well, enter Threezero Transformers: Age Of Extinction Lockdown collectible figure.

Threezero has announced the intention to add AoE Lockdown to its Transformers lineup in February. Now, at Chinajoy, it offered the first look at the figure with a gray prototype. And oh boy, oh boy. It is looking absolutely fantastic. We cannot wait for the final product to be announced.

As far as the prototype goes. It appears to be mostly 3D printed but the form is there and it looks good enough to drive the anticipation. The proportion is consistent with the CG images, right down to the scratched chest. It is not clear though if Threezero has managed to secure the blessing of Lamborghini to enable them to include the Raging Bull emblem on Lockdown’s chest like in the movie.

Anyhoo, the best part about Threezero is that you probably won’t have to wait long for the final product (I am looking at you Hot Toys). The photos are by Weibo user @广阔的宇宙. According to one of the images, the displayed figure is a DLX Standard Edition. Strangely though, the images taken by @广阔的宇宙 appear to be from a different location than the rest of the images that have been circulating on the Chinese social media Weibo. But it is still cool anyways.
