Good news, fans of Xiaomi and petrolheads… wait, that’s not right. Electric heads. Or simply car enthusiasts and fans of the Gran Turismo series. The Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo Concept Car promised during the Xiaomi x Gran Turismo collaboration announcement is finally here in physical form, albeit not in drivable form.
For the uninitiated, since the inception of Vision Gran Turismo, or VGT, in 2013, 36 marques have been involved in the program. VGT is a collaboration between automakers and Gran Turismo to embark on a no-holds-barred design of futuristic concept cars exclusively for the video game series. Xiaomi Vision GT has just become the 51st VGT.
Revealed at Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, the Xiaomi Vision GT is built on Xiaomi’s self-developed 900 V silicon carbide high-voltage platform, paired with four electric motors and a four-wheel-drive system delivering a mind-bending 1,360 horsepower. It rockets from 0–100 km/h in around one second. Top speed is reportedly 350 km/h. The platform supports ultra-high-power charging, allowing up to 500 km of range with just 10 minutes of charging.
The electric supercar follows a “sculpted by wind” concept, which explains the aesthetic that looks more like something shaped in a wind tunnel than styled in a design studio. The drag coefficient is as low as 0.29 Cd, and it can generate up to 1.2 tons of downforce. Aero elements include an aero-shaped CMS, a center fin reminiscent of the Mercedes-AMG One, a diffuser channel limiter, front splitter, side blades, open wheel houses, and a foldable vortex generator. And yes, the wheels are fixed; only the wheel covers rotate. It also features the obligatory scissor doors.
Inside, it is as minimalist and futuristic as one would expect. The highlight is an ultra-futuristic race car yoke steering wheel with touchscreen controls and steer-by-wire technology, allowing it to switch between left- and right-hand drive. The two-seat layout includes futuristic bucket seats with racing harnesses and a Xiaomi Loop sound system. The seats use Xiaomi Tech Knit material with 91% elasticity recovery and high breathability.
Obviously, the Xiaomi Vision GT [CH] will not be mass-produced. It remains a concept car destined for the virtual world of Gran Turismo. According to official statements, Gran Turismo will work with Xiaomi EV on vehicle data and development, so its digital debut may still take some time.
