Forget action figures because Kara Zor-El is a Barbie doll now. Joining the many DC Studios superheroes, including Wonder Woman and the other Supergirl, to be Barbie doll-ized is the latest incarnation of Supergirl. The doll has some likeness to Milly Alcock, the actress playing the title role, and has hints of the rugged vibe without actually looking rugged.
The doll is garbed in a highly detailed, movie-accurate suit that is complete with the iconic S-Shield chest emblem, a flowing cape, and thigh-high boots. The doll is designed by Stone Procaccino, with Diana Leto lending her expertise to the packaging. Each doll is furnished with a Certificate of Authenticity. As with all Barbie dolls, standing is not its strongest suit. It can stand, but any tremor will tip it over, and hence, a doll stand is included to help the doll stand and pull off some basic poses.
