Hasbro Selfie Series Custom Action Figures Put Your Likeness On Action Figures

Hasbro Selfie Series Custom Action Figures

There are a handful of people who are in the business of turning you into an action figure. There was the Stormtrooper mini-me and then there was a company that puts your face on almost any 12-inch action figure. Soon, Hasbro will be joining the game.

It is the kind of cosplay you will never do (or may you do?)

Folks, meet the Hasbro Selfie Series, Hasbro’s new personalization platform. Come this fall, fans in the U.S. will have a chance to digitally transform themselves into collectible action heroes and heroines.

This program lets you create a “collector-grade” 6-inch action figure in your likeness based on the classic to current characters from movies, televisions, and comics.

Using the Hasbro Pulse app, you will be able to scan your face, select the hair color and pick your action figure, and submit it to Hasbro.

Let’s be honest, who doesn’t want a mini me?

After which, the Hasbro print factory, in collaboration with Formlabs, will recreate your likeness on a head sculpt that will be installed on a standard/off-the-shelf action figure body.

Wait. “Standard/off-the-shelf action figure body”? I thought it will be “collector-grade”? It better be collector-grade because it reportedly will cost you US$59.99 per figure.

But mind you. This isn’t any old 3D printed head sculpt of you. To recreate your head sculpt, Formlabs has custom resin to allow for varying skin shades and hair colors and with Formlabs’ 3D printing technology, the quality of the print is also assured.

With Hasbro Selfie Series, you can literally play with yourself…

The Hasbro Selfie Series will launch in Fall 2022 exclusively on Hasbro Pulse mobile app for stateside fans aged 16 and older. If you are a resident in the U.S., you can sign up to be notified when Hasbro Selfie Series is available.

Meanwhile, you can download the Hasbro Pulse app, available on Android and iOS by scanning the QR code on Hasbropulse.com.

And also become the action hero you always wanted to be.
