We have more news coming out of LEGO, and this one should tickle the fancy of fans of “I’m Batman.” Bat fans, behold the LEGO Batman Arkham Asylum (76300)! The set packs a whopping 2,953 elements, letting you build the iconic (fictional) madhouse and play out the mayhem in LEGO proportions. It may be LEGO, but thanks to the almost 3,000 pieces, it’s loaded with authentic details.
More importantly, this set is a minifigure bonanza featuring a staggering 16 minifigures, including Batman, Batwoman, Batwing, Robin, Mr. Freeze, The Riddler, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Scarecrow, Harley Quinn, Bane, The Joker, The Penguin, Killer Croc, and two security guards, which sounds less like staffing and more like extras waiting to be thrown through a wall amid the mayhem that is playing out.
Also in the mix: an inmate delivery van, opening prison cells, and 65 stickers referencing Batman lore. Yes, 65 stickers. Not sure which villain came up with that idea, but if the price didn’t scare you off, the sticker sheet might. I know it sure threw me off. Not that I have the kind of money to spare, but more on the price in a bit.
What makes this set even more chaotic (in a good way) is that it doubles as a 24-day advent calendar. You can either build the whole thing at once or slowly lose your sanity one brick at a time, leading up to Christmas. Either way, the finished model stands 32 cm (12.5 inches) tall, 25 cm (10 inches) wide, and 26 cm (10.5 inches) deep—basically a nice, brooding chunk of Gotham for your shelf.
The structure splits into three parts—first floor, second floor, and roof—making it easy to access the madness within. Additionally, each minifig comes with a transparent stand, allowing you to create mini escape scenes or dramatic rooftop showdowns.
The LEGO Batman Arkham Asylum (76300) will be available on September 12, 2025. Pre-orders are open now, and it’ll set you back US$299.99. Man, that is a price that makes my wallet weep! Also, I don’t think I have room for another brick-built building. Oh, one more thing… this set is made for adult fans of LEGO (AFOLs), i.e., an 18+ set.
