This Custom LEGO Batmobile Deserves To Be A Real Batman Ride

Over the years, Batman has lost his appeal against characters with ‘real’ superpower, but one thing that continues to captivate me is his gadgets, more specifically, his ride, the Batmobile. In a way, Batmobile kind of defines this superhero without superpower. I have in my possession two LEGO UCS Batmobiles: the LEGO UCS Batmobile 7784 and the LEGO UCS Tumbler 76023. They are both as fabulous as they are iconic, and now, there is one “fictional” fan built (AKA LEGO MOC) that I think deserves to be in the same place as those two official sets. If Superheroes Do BBQ, They Will Probably Use This BBQ Tool Set

I am not sure if superheroes like Batman, Captain America, or Wonder Woman do BBQ. I imagine that they not only do, but have a deep love for BBQ. After all, they are Americans aren’t they, and honestly, tell one true blue American who doesn’t love a good BBQ session? Probably none. If they do, I also imagine they will be flipping patties and sizzling those hot dogs with the Superhero 3-piece BBQ Tool Set with the name of their alter ego. Batman As A Ninja Is Totally The Right Thing To Do

Ninja was a covert agent (but more like mercenary, really) in feudal Japan who have been depicted in numerous movies and TV series. On screens, ninja are often depicted as skilled, elusive, and stealthy force, who are often loaded with gadgets and does disappearing act. In some way, Batman is very similar to a ninja and therefore, it kind of make sense for Warner Bros. Japan to come up with an animated feature called Batman Ninja. Yep. That’s right. The Bat has gone Japanese. Though we are not sure if the Bat will be played by a Japanese version of Bruce Wayne, or it is just Wayne-san in medieval Japan, as a ninja. If Bruce Wayne Ever Went Broke, This Will Probably Be His Crimefighting Ride

Bruce Wayne, AKA Batman, always gets the best gadgets and rides money can buy, and therefore, to think that the billionaire masked crimefighter will use a Toyota Camry as his ride of choice when he go about kicking baddies’ ass is nothing less than absurd. Seriously, Joker will probably die laughing. However, if he ever go broke, who knows he may resort to converting a lacklustre ride into his Batmobile like what this Imgur user did. But, of course, knowing the Bat, he will probably tricked out the drivetrain to maybe include jet engine(s) and the requisite afterburner(s), along with Bat-ish not-so-aero aero kit and a bunch of seemingly just-for-show bits. And how can we forget the Batman’s favorite color, black for the paint job, eh? Continue reading If Bruce Wayne Ever Went Broke, This Will Probably Be His Crimefighting Ride

Guy Built Christopher Nolan’s Batmobile ‘Tumbler’ Out Of A Minivan

Thinking of getting rid of your rusty, old minivan? Well, don’t. Not at least until you have read this. What you see here is the modern day pop culture, the Batmobile, AKA Tumbler, made famous by Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Trilogy, DIY-ed entirely in the garage. Granted, this is a rather crude contraption, but you’d be impressed if you know that it actually has a minivan underpinning. Yes. That’s right. This is in fact a bat-minivan, or batvan, if you will. Cobbled by Instructables member Kid Hero who we’d hailed as a real-life superhero for making minivan great again. It may not look exactly like the movies’, it does look reasonably decent. Infographic: The Evolution Of Some Of The Most Iconic Superhero Vehicles

Thanks to Marvel Cinematic Universal, the interest for comic book superheroes has never been higher and it doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon – more so now that the two comic book powerhouses are fiercely vying for a chunk of the lucrative movie pie. Annual sale of literatures like comic books, trade paperbacks and magazines have definitely been in a decline up till the late 90s – due to financial woes and changing distribution method. However, there was a graduate increase in the beginning of 00s’ which was clearly a positive side effect of the various movie adaptations hitting the theaters and also the improve distributions in the digital media age. Tirrenia Launches DC Superheroes-themed Ships, Starting With Batman

It is unlikely that Batman will announce his presence on a mass transportation system such as a ship and surely, billionaire Bruce Wayne won’t either, but for fans of this fictional crimefighting cape superhero/brilliant detective, it will be perfectly fine to be cruising on a classic Batman themed big-ass ferry like the Italy-based Tirrenia ship’s Sharden. In a partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and obviously, DC Entertainment, Tirrenia has begun decorating the sides of DC superheroes-themed Tirrenia ships. Work started earlier this year when Tirrenia’s ship, Sharden, had its sides painted with the classic Batman graphics. Justice League RC Batmobile Spews Real Exhaust, Offers FPV Driving

What you see here is a RC Batmobile from toy maker Mattel. So what’s with this RC toy that gets us so stoked? Well, first and foremost, it is an exact replica of the Batmobile that will appear in the upcoming DC Comics’ Justice League movie. As you can see, Bruce’s crimefighting automobile gets some serious boost in firepower with an over the top look for good measure. Hey, we are not complaining cos’ it’s Batfleck. But being a replica of the movie’s car is just half of the story. The other half being, it has a real exhaust that, you know, spews out white smoke (harmless smoke, Mattel assures) and a dashcam of sort so you can drive this badass ride with your smartphone as what Batman would sees.
