Timex Partnered With Netflix For Stranger Things Themed Watches From The 80s

Timex x Stranger Things Collection

Being set in the 80s, the Stranger Things franchise has set up a lot of opportunities to collaborate with iconic 80s brands and goods. From instant film camera to ice cream to apparel, Stranger Things had it all covered. But no collaboration is more powerful and authentic than if the products were actually seen in the TV show.

Timex was one such example. The more than a century-old watchmaker has partnered with Netflix’s Stranger Things for three special edition timepieces that are very, well, era-appropriate.

The 3 1980s cult class watches from Timex given the Stranger Things makeover are Timex Camper (40 mm), Timex T80 (34 mm), and Timex Atlantis (40 mm), with Time Camper, can be seen worn by Lucas Sinclair in Stranger Things 4.

The new iteration of the Camper now permeates the shadows with an ominous INDIGLO backlight and hidden image. Meanwhile, the two other digital watches, the Timex T80 and Timex Atlantis, which were originally introduced in 1983 – around the time of Will Byers’ disappearance – boast custom alarm with the haunting Stranger Things melody.

Timex Atlantis, btw, can be seen worn by Sheriff Jim Hopper in the previous seasons. The digital watches also have an easter egg: when the clock strikes 3 PM, they reveal a backward number – a reason you will know if you watch ST4.

This special edition watches further touts a stainless steel bracelet or fabric strap, and resin case and strap.

The Timex x Stranger Things Collection of wristwatches is available now from the Timex website going for US$89 a pop.
