The long-overdue Netflix’s Stranger Things 4 is set to drop next week. To get keep the mood going, Netflix has shared the first 8 minutes of the new season. If I can be perfectly honest, I am not entirely thrilled. Not by the show or by the first 8 minutes.
I don’t know, man. Perhaps my anticipation has gradually turned into dismay. It has been nearly 3 years since the last season which may be OK for most shows but for a series where kids took center stage, it is very time-sensitive. I mean, seriously, have seen how the original gang has grown?
What makes the original Stranger Things tick was innocent kids going up against the underknown, IMHO. That and the mysterious, supernatural nature of the show, of course.
Anywho, here it is, the first 8 minutes to get you excited again – if your anticipation has not dwindled like mine.
We are not sure if mentioned the last time but this concluding season is split into two volumes: Stranger Things 4 Vol. 1 and Stranger Things 4 Vol. 2. Volume 1 has 7 episodes and will start streaming on May 27, 2022. Meanwhile, Volume 2 has just two episodes and will begin streaming on July 01, 2022. Keep going for the said first 8 minutes.
