Joining the long list of collaborations with Netflix’s hit TV show, Stranger Things, is the granddaddy of denim wear, Levi’s. The Levi’s x Stranger Things Collection features pieces like t-shirts, hoodies, and of course, denims, with references to the 80s-themed sci-fi/horror TV show. Expect to find pieces like a collegiate-inspired jumper slapped with Stranger Things and “Eleven” across the front, and a denim set decorated with images of Eleven and her friends from the series.
There are items dedicated to the third season too, featuring tagline, graphics and motifs inspired by Stranger Things 3. These include a Camp Know Where Ringer t-shirt which supposedly will be seen worn by Dustin in season 3, Aztec Print Shirt and the El Pleated Jean worn by Eleven, plus items sporting tagline like like “One summer can change everything.”
Like Nike and Baskin-Robbins, Levi’s has been around long around to invoke a sense of nostalgia. Not so much for H&M. Even though H&M was established over 70 years ago in Sweden, it didn’t arrive to the U.S. shores until 2000. So, it is not quite “accurate”, so to speak, in relation to what essentially was an American story.
Anywho, here’s a fun fact with regards to this latest Stranger Things collaboration: The look book of this capsule collection was shot on location of the series’ set.
You can pick up the Levi’s x Stranger Things Collection in store, as well as from Levi’s online store. Do note that we tried looking the collection up online, both in U.S. and U.K., but we didn’t manage to find any. So, I guess you will have to hit up Levi’s brick and mortar stores to check them out.
