If you have been anticipating a die-cast Bumblebee or Megatron after the Hot Wheels Collectors Hot Wheels Transformers Optimus Prime, you’re going to be disappointed. But there is other pretty exciting news. Two of Hot Wheels’ most iconic rides, Twin Mill and Bone Shaker, have crossed over into the Transformers universe.
The Transformers Collaborative Hot Wheels x Transformers Twin Mill turns the twin-engined speedster into a 5-inch robot built for both display and play. It converts between robot mode and Twin Mill car mode in 21 steps. The figure comes with two attachable flame accessories that work in either mode, staying true to the car’s long-standing “speed first, subtlety never” attitude.
The Transformers Collaborative Hot Wheels x Transformers Bone Shaker swaps the streamlined racer look for a skull-shaped grille that remains front and center in robot mode. Also 5 inches tall, it transforms in 22 steps. The included shifter doubles as a mace, which means it can either change gears or start a fight, depending on the situation.
Both keep the Hot Wheels DNA intact while integrating the articulation and detailing collectors expect from a Transformers figure. They are small enough to fit on a shelf yet detailed enough to stand out in any display.
The Transformers Collaborative Hot Wheels Twin Mill and Bone Shaker are priced at US$29.99 each. Both are available separately, so you can pick your favorite or get both and recreate the kind of head-to-head rivalry that Hot Wheels tracks were made for. These toys are set to hit the shelves starting January 01, 2026.
