This one is for the truest, most hardcore Astro Boy fans. What you see here is a Qi2 standard MagSafe charger that takes on the shape of the iconic red boot of Astro Boy. Officially called Astro Boy 60th Anniversary Boots MagSafe Wireless Charger, it is available as a standalone device—supplied with a USB Type-C charging cable or as a package in an Astro Boy Special Edition that also includes a collectible 11-inch white fixed pose Astro Boy figure specially created to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Astro Boy (that’s last year, btw).
The white figure is juxtaposed with the iconic red boots and a red heart on the robot boy’s left chest. The figure is also available separately if anyone’s interested. We need to clarify that the 60th anniversary last year was for the anime which started airing in 1963. The character, however, was created way back in 1951 and serialized as a manga in 1952.
