Kidnapped Simulator Makes You Type Your Way Out of a Serial Killer’s Chair

Kidnapped Simulator Video Game

From cemetery simulator to drug dealer simulator to prison life simulator, we thought we had seen it all when it comes to the weird side of simulation games. Well, apparently, we are missing one important theme: kidnapping. Or more precisely, interrogation. Folks, meet the Kidnapped Simulator, a first-person psychological horror game where you type your replies to determine your fate.

You wake up strapped to a chair opposite Abel Marsh, a serial killer who wants a confession. What did you do? Who did you hurt? Why have you kept it to yourself? Dude has questions, and unfortunately, you cannot leave him on read.

Instead of picking from a convenient list of dialogue options, you write your own replies. Plead, lie, confess, or push back. You can also ask questions, digging into Abel’s past and rituals to find something you can use against him. Confessing might please him temporarily, but it doesn’t automatically earn you a ride home. Customer service is terrible here.

Behind the conversation is a local AI language model, with AI-generated speech letting Abel respond aloud. Both run entirely on your PC, without cloud services or an internet connection. At least your questionable attempts at talking your way out won’t end up on someone’s server.

The game combines generated dialogue with authored story content, scripted events, and prepared animations. There are eight endings, all unfolding in one room with PS1-inspired visuals and harsh shadows. You can look around, but turning back means facing Abel again. So much for a change of scenery.

The developers’ trailer description offers a particularly unpleasant example: Abel has heard your confession, made a note in his ledger, and raised a revolver. Now he wants your last words. Suddenly, that empty reply field looks a lot less inviting.

Developed by CRUNCHFEST and GROLAF and published by CRUNCHFEST, Kidnapped Simulator is planned for PC via Steam in Q4 2026. No price is listed yet. You can wishlist it now if your idea of unwinding involves carefully composing a message to a man holding you captive.
