Whether or not fossil fuel companies like it or not, electric drive is the future. It is inevitable, especially when motorsports start going electric and more so when prominent race car series Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft, or popularly known as DTM to us non-German speaking folks, is looking at Electric Race Series.
Peugeot is most known for its automobiles and to some extend, bicycles, but most of people in the U.S. probably did not know the French marque also makes two-wheeler, or more recently, three-wheeler under its Peugeot Motorcycles division (which is soon to be 100 percent owned by Indian automobile maker Mahindra, btw).
It looks like Peugeot isn’t the only one looking into “normalizing” electric cars. Months ahead of the France automaker’s e-208, British automaker Vauxhall already did with an all-electric Corsa which, you guessed it, looks exactly like the all-new fossil fuel-powered Corsa.
If you think last year’s Peugeot Rifter 4×4 Concept was way too small for an off-road adventure vehicle, this year’s follow up, the Peugeot Boxer 4×4 Concept, should please you cos’ it is huge. It has more real estate and headroom and it should cos’ it is, after all, a freaking van.
