The car mod industry has a couple of recurring problems. First, parts for older cars slowly disappear. Second, the moment you actually find them, they cost roughly the same as a small island. Thankfully, the JDM scene never really got that memo.

These new dry carbon fiber parts from Garage Active are exactly what you think they are: lighter, sharper-looking replacements for aging factory pieces that have probably survived three owners, two questionable paint jobs, and at least one “temporary” zip-tie fix. Panels for both the BNR32 and BCNR33 bring modern materials to cars that already had future-proof engineering when they were new. Now they just get to look the part again.

There is even a dry carbon sunshade, which sounds like the most unnecessary thing until you realize it is probably the only sunshade your GT-R will ever have that deserves its own parking spot.

R33 GT-R headlights are one of those parts you do not think about until you actually need them, and by then, you discover they have long since disappeared from normal supply channels. Garage Active spent years recreating the original Xenon units as factory-style replacements that support D2R HID bulbs, accept genuine ballasts, and can even be converted to LED later if you feel like blending generations a little. Sold as a complete left-and-right pair with OEM-style fitment, they are exactly the kind of component that keeps a BCNR33 from quietly sitting unfinished in the garage while waiting for “just one more part.”

All told, there are no fewer than 15 dry carbon fiber parts for BNR32, including the doors, the A pillars, the Fenders, and more. Prices range from 95,040 yen to 1,366,200 yen (~US$598 to US$8,527). Meanwhile, the dry carbon fiber parts for BNR33 have 5 components, which, wait for it, include a 400R Type hood (!). Prices range from 451,440 yen to 1,401,840 yen (~US$2,841 to US$8,820).
The Garage Active dry carbon sunshade is available for the R32, R33, R34 Skyline GTR, and R35 GT-R for 42,768 yen, or ~US$269. The Garage Active R33 GTR Headlights sells for 449,064 yen (~US$2,828), and the Garage Active R32 Reproduction Dashboard costs 534,600 yen (~US$3,366) for the original look, and 629,640 yen (~US$3,965) for the Nappa Leather and Ultra Suede version.
