Someone Have Imagined What The Next OnePlus’s Flagship Will Looks Like

OnePlus 5T has been unveiled barely a month ago, but already, someone has imagined what the next flagship, OnePlus 6, would look like and it is so beautiful that you will probably don’t want to buy the OnePlus 5T now. Of course, this isn’t real. First of all, even number is not OnePlus’s norm. Any OnePlus fan would have told you that the next OnePlus is likely to be labelled ‘7’, not ‘6’. Anyways, according to Science and Knowledge, the YouTube channel responsible for this render, the concept phone was based on “latest leaks and rumors” and so, we shall take it with a huge pinch of salt, and enjoying fantasizing about it. Xiaomi Redmi 5 Series Touts 18:9 Display, Decent Specs With Budget Stickers

Xiaomi is relentless in turning out new phones (or any product for that matter). The Xiaomi Redmi 5 series is the latest to be announced, just in time to provide the much needed breather from the ever increasing smartphone prices. I was never into Redmi because the design was pretty yucky IMHO. However, the 5 series is entirely different. It has a wee bit of wow factor in the design aspect. Never mind that it looks like a mashup of a Samsung, HTC and iPhone, it is quite pleasing to the eyes – thanks in part to the FullView display that engulfed almost the entire front. Man Tattoos Razer CEO’s Face On His Leg So He Could Get A Free Razer Phone

How far would you go to get a phone you really want? Beside paying through your nose, you probably won’t mind queuing for days outside of a store, just so you could get it sooner. At least that’s the norm these days, but one Razer fan, an Ohio man by the name of Matt Connelly, has taken it to a whole new level: tattooing the headshot of Razer co-founder and CEO, Tan Min-Liang on his leg. Why would anyone do that, you ask? Well, you see, it all began in November when Matt Connelly commented on Tan’s Facebook post with a strange request: Matt wants to tattoo Tan’s face on himself in exchange for a Razer phone and much to his surprise and delight, Tan actually agree, responding with “Lol sure – permanent tattoo and I’ll be sure to sign the box when I send it out!Continue reading Man Tattoos Razer CEO’s Face On His Leg So He Could Get A Free Razer Phone

OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition Is Likely Why There’s Only One Color For 5T

Ah… now we are beginning to see the big picture why OnePlus 5T was announced with just one color options, Midnight Black. It was probably a marketing stunt that will allow the handset maker to turn out ‘limited edition’ color for other markets. Slowly but surely, it has announced a limited Lava Red version exclusively for China market and now, at the Comic Con India, it has announced a white edition that’s Star Wars branded. This limited Star Wars edition is no doubt a celebratory device for the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi movie. Chinese Knockoff Apple iPhone X Looks Surprisingly Convincing

It is not new to find Apple iPhone the subject of copies, but there’s nothing more blatant than this recent iPhone X knockoff from, arguably the master of knockoff handsets, Little Pepper (小辣椒). At a glance at the company’s S11 handset, you’d be forgiven to think that it is an actual iPhone X because it looks freaking real, right down to the edge-to-edge display and the annoying notch on the top border. However, upon closer observation, you will find that not everything is what it appears to be. It is, in fact, not border-less. It was an illusion. The display did not stretch all the way to the bottom; it is in black to create the illusion of an edge-to-edge appearance. DOOGEE Mix: Little Known Bezel-less Android Smartphone For Under $200

Xiaomi has been bashed by many for blatantly copying other brands’ design, but unbeknownst to many, the seven-year-old China startup is also a victim of copycats. But hey, if we can get similar design and possibly, comparable quality for less, why the hell not? The DOOGEE Mix you see here is one such example. While not a blatant copy, it does share some similarity alongside dashes of originality. DOOGEE is one of the hundreds of unknown smartphone makers from China and the DOOGEE Mix is one of their older models that is now available to the U.S. for under 200 bucks. Just imagine that! An edge-to-edge Android smartphone for under $200. Continue reading DOOGEE Mix: Little Known Bezel-less Android Smartphone For Under $200

OnePlus 5T Unveiled, Touts 6-inch Edge-to-Edge Display And A Headphone Jack

With so many headline-grabbing flagships being introduced in recent months, it is easy to forget that small players like OnePlus has something good to offer without leaving us stunt with their luxury pricing. Speaking of which, OnePlus has just announced its much anticipated “premium” flagship, the OnePlus 5T and boy, is it a beauty. This beauty is a result of a combination of an immersive 6-inch “Full Optic AMOLED” display with an 18:9 aspect ratio that consumed almost the entire front of the device and a seamless anodized aluminum unibody. Is This The Most Customizable Android Smartphone In The Market Right Now?

I am not going to lie. I get bored with my phone easily. Not with the features and functions though; it is more with the look. Maybe I shouldn’t look at my phone so many times in day. But I can’t help it cos’ I am a gadget zombie. That’s probably why I uses a case or skin as a pathetic attempt to change the look. But as it turns out, I don’t have to. There is actually an Android smartphone out there that allows you and I to change the look of the device as and when we feel like it without bumping up the device size like it would when used with a cover. So, I guess its a ‘yay’? Continue reading Is This The Most Customizable Android Smartphone In The Market Right Now?

There Is Going To Be An Android Phone That Isn’t A Smartphone

The point of Android OS is to make your smartphone, well, smart, so you can do a lot more things than making voice calls and send text messages. Having said that, it is only natural for one to come to conclusion, almost naturally, that an Android phone will be such, but that’s really not the case for NichePhone-S, an upcoming mobile phone (note, I said ‘mobile phone’) from Japanese company, FutureModel. NichePhone-S is, as the product name suggests, a very niche phone. Why? As you can see, it looks like a glorified calculator, but beneath that, Android 4.2 OS is breathing life to it. Despite so, it does nothing more than voice calls, text messages, and stream music. Continue reading There Is Going To Be An Android Phone That Isn’t A Smartphone
