Meshable Chrono Proves That Chronograph Watch Can Be Minimal and Classy Too

You know how it is with chronograph watches. They are often complicated, if not cluttered. Then again, it is hard to imagine a chrono that’s not so, well, until now. Meet the Meshable Chrono by Meshable Watches, a second effort my German watchmaker Meshable Watches that, at a glance, looks like a minimal watch. However, on a second look, it is in fact a chronograph watch, albeit with only one sub-dial. To be fair, we did not see the watch in person, but the product images are enough to capture our attention. It has a clean, minimalistic design that looks both manly and feminine at the same time. It’s hard to take our eyes of it, really. It is just so… elegant. Continue reading Meshable Chrono Proves That Chronograph Watch Can Be Minimal and Classy Too

Finally, a Dive Watch with Top-line Spec That Won’t Hurt Your Wallet

I have experience with a luxury timepiece, which I was fortunate enough to ‘observe’ for an extended period and let me tell you this, at the end of day, I was crying out for illumination and that’s coming from a very well known luxe watchmaker. Helgray Silverstone: 60s Racing-inspired Chronograph Watch That Don’t Cost An Arm or A Leg

When we think racing timepieces, most people would probably associate them with brands like Ferrari and Tag Heuer, but as we all know, they are never affordable. But it is not like they are unattainable; you can always save on everything in your life just to grab a piece, or you can take a look at the Helgray Silverstone 60s Racing Chronograph Watch. The product name pretty much says it all, doesn’t it? The Silverstone 60s Racing Chronograph is a timepiece that brings together the best two worlds: the old world of charm of the 60s motorsports era and the power of modern watch mechanics. Unlike some chronographs offered by some branded marques, Helgray Silverstone has a minimalistic dial face which is the home to a pair of sub-dials that kind of reminds us of automobile instruments and a date window sits discreetly at 6 o’clock. Bell & Ross BR-X1 Aircraft Gauge-inspired Watch Gets Rocker Push Buttons and Skeletal Look

This may not go down well with every Bell & Ross devotees, but here it is, the BR-X1 Skeleton Chronograph, Bell & Ross’ sporty and futuristic take of the iconic BR-01. Inspired by the aeronautical flight instrument of the 21st century fighter airplanes, the BR-X1 retains the signature square design which so many have copied but failed, and unfortunately or not, that’s about the only similarity this new kid has with its forebears. The futuristic look blend with the signature square design may not be everyone’s cuppa, but it is still quite a looker (note: we said ‘quite’). NOOKA Introduces Its First Chronograph Watch Inspired By Space Race Of The 60s

for ten years, NYC-based NOOKA has been turning out fashionable timepieces, but never had a chronograph to its name. well, things are about change as it hits Indiegogo with the company’s very first chronograph watch, NOOKRONO. with a design inspired by the Space Race of the 1960s, NOOKRONO takes on a clean, minimalist design approach with large legible dial face that’s easy on the eyes. instead of time markers, the watch face is decorated with lines reaching in every direction and adorned with chronograph sub-dials that appear to be floating. from what we can see, the watch does have a distinctive sixties appeal. despite being minimal, the watch stands out with its large 48mm case diameter and has a profile that’s 11mm thick. the large watch face is paired to uniformly narrow straps of either soft silicone band or stainless steel band. Bell & Ross BR01 and BR03 B-Rocket

French luxury watch maker Bell & Ross has come a long way. it has, in 2011, transit successfully from the air to the land through a special collab Harley-Davidson cruiser and since then, it is associated with both aviation and high-speed motorcycle. complementing its second motorcycle collaboration with Shaw Speed & Custom which have featured recently, is this pair of watches, aptly named BR01 and BR03 B-Rocket. interestingly, the B-Rocket watches are designed after the bike was conceptualized and as expected, the duo features designs that are closely linked to the B-Rocket. kicking off the duo is the 46mm BR01, sporting a large minutes counter, a tachymetric scale on the outer edge of the dial for measuring short periods of time, and three additional counters which provide further information: a 60-second, 30-minute and 12-hour counter. Seiko Astron GPS Solar Watch

blame it on our watches that we have to depend on smartphones to tell time, because smartphone is smart – the time changes according to where we are in the world, but watch doesn’t. however, with the Seiko Astron GPS Solar Watch, changing the time on your watch to where you are will be a thing of the past. thanks to the built-in low-power GPS module, the watch will automatically adjust to 39 time zones across the globe, just by the power of light. at a touch of button, the watch grabs the UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) signals fired out by the atomic clocks in the GPS satellites in orbit and automatically determine your location and set the local time and date.
