Fossils Discovered 20 Years Old Ago Turned Out To Be A “Cousin” Of T-Rex

When you hear that the infamous prehistoric animal Tyrannosaurus rex had a “cousin,” you’d think it would be as large as the T-rex. Well, as it turns out, not only the T-rex did had a “cousin,” it was very much smaller. Paleontologist and assistant professor with Department of Geosciences at the Virginia Tech College of Science, Sterling Nesbitt, and an international team of scientists have revealed that they have discovered and named a new tyrannosauroid dinosaur. I am not sure if training a dinosaur is possible, let alone taming one that is reputed to be as ferocious as the infamous Velociraptor, but with the Jurassic World Alpha Training Blue Robot, you sure can. This Car-size Armadillo Walked The Earth 5.3 Billion Years Ago

Almost every animals today have ancestors from the dinosaur-age. As it turns out, armadillo is no exception. It lived some 5.3 billion to 11,700 years ago and it was called Glyptodon and like one may have expected, this armored beast was no raccoon size. Apparently, it was car-sized, stretching to around 10 feet long and tipping the scales at 1 ton. Dinosaur-age, Snake-like Shark With 300 Teeth Is Stuff Of Nightmares

So, you think dinosaurs have been long dead? Well, think again. Among the recent haul by some deep sea fishermen in Portugal, there in lies a strange deep sea creature. It was stuff of nightmare and also a reminder to us that there are much to learn about this little blue marble we live on. The bycatch in question was a shark, but it was a shark unlike no other. It is called a frilled shark, or scientifically, chlamydoselachus anguineus, this strange creature of the deep does not bear the usual fish-like, streamlined body common to almost any shark.
