Floating World In Test Tube Looks Like Something Right Out Of Avatar

Floating world only exist in anime and sci-fi fantasy movies, but that doesn’t mean we cannot live the dream, well, at least in miniature proportions. You can’t actually fly up to these tiny gravity-defying worlds cos’ they are obviously not of real world size, but Micro Matter by Dutch artist Rose de Jong aka Byrosa will mesmerize you and probably fuel your imagination, and it really is as surreal as it can gets. Rosa whipped up these magical worlds, each housed in a test tube, using materials like sticks, rocks and sand to create scenes like camping in the woods, house over a rocky cliff, and skyscraper on clouds. Basically, Rose’s Micro Matter looks something straight out of the James Cameron’s sci-fi flick Avatar – minus the infinite waterfall, of course.
