Singapore’s New Robot Can Tow Fire-Damaged EVs Away From Danger
Electric vehicle fires can remain hazardous even after the flames are extinguished. Singapore’s Civil Defence Force has introduced a remotely operated robot that can lift and tow fire-damaged EVs out of confined spaces. Controlled from up to 300 meters away, the VXR helps firefighters manage potentially unstable batteries without unnecessary exposure.
