This heralds the era of next-generation WiFi 8 technology, never mind that WiFi 7 is not even part of your life now.
ASUS rolled out the ROG NeoCore at CES 2026 along with the world’s first real-world WiFi 8 throughput test. Not lab fantasy numbers. Not marketing math. Real rooms, real walls, real interference. And the results made WiFi 7 look like it needed a nap. Compared to WiFi 7, WiFi 8 showed up to 2X higher mid-range throughput, 2X wider IoT coverage, and up to 6X lower P99 latency through smarter multi-AP and multi-client operation.
