Alpacka Caribou Packraft Will Take You And Your Bike Across The Water

Staking claim as the lightest and most packable full-size packraft on the market, the Caribou is packraft maker Alpacka Raft’s latest offering. Caribou is more than just a pretty raft; it touts a new, innovative bow design which allows it to, wait for this… carry bikes. Yup. This baby here can take your trusty pedal-powered two-wheeler across the water. Sweet! Don’t have a bike? Well, fret not. You can also choose to load it up with full-sized packs, big game, or just about any heavy loads you may have in your possession when you come across a waterbody. The magical part is, it is able to keep the boat balanced, on or off the water, when you load it up with your cargo. You know Peugeot is dead serious about pushing its i-Cockpit to the auto industry when it decided to stick their hands into designing cockpits for sea-faring vessel too. In an announcement made late last year, the French automaker unveiled the Sea Drive Concept in collaboration with French boat maker Beneteau Boats. Designed and built by Peugeot Design Lab, the Sea Drive Concept is a functional demonstrator that leverages on Peugeot i-Cockpit which fuses Beneteau’s Ship Control technology to result what the company said to be “the boating industry’s future steering station” and “the future of powerboating.” Well, what can I said? This Inflatable Raft Actually Rolls Up To The Size Of Paper Towels

There are rafts that you bring to a lake and then there are rafts that you bring to a lake located off the beaten paths. Obviously, a regular raft or kayak, for that matter, is not going to make it to the latter. In such instance, you will need a raft like the Rogue Packraft. Rogue Packraft is the latest inflatable raft from Denver-based Kokopelli Packraft that packs up into a size a little bigger than a roll of paper towel. This means, it can be brought along even if you trail biking. ATV not required, neither is trailer necessary, and that is awesome in our books. JimBoats 6.5 Is A Sea-faring Ride-on For Kids That (Some) Adults Can Ride Too

Kiddie ride comes in a myriad of designs. It can be a Landspeeder, a McLaren P1, a Tesla Model S, or even a non-mobile ride like the Star Trek Enterprise Rocker, but however different they may be, they are ultimately land-based miniature vehicles which, sadly, adults can only ogle at with envy. So, when Denis Jimenez dropped us a hat tip on the JimBoats 6.5, we are absolutely elated. Not only because this ride-on is sea-going, adults can have a go with it too. Rapid Whale Mini Boat Is A One-man Boat That Fits Into A Compact Hatch

Who doesn’t like boats? But lets face it: not everyone has a vehicle that is capable of towing a 27-foot boat to the shore, much less afford the maintenance that comes with a full-fledged boat. At this point, you could either make peace with your desire to own a motor boat by going with kayaks, which are more transportation-friendly, or you could look to this super fun, super cute Rapid Whale Mini Boat Kit. Inspired by a number of boats, including Paul Elkin’s 8’ “Little Miss Sally” and American Boathead’s 8’ “Model C,” Rapid Whale Mini Boat Kit is a fully-functional 6 foot long electric-powered boat that looks like something pulled straight out of a fantasy world. Alpha Centauri Hydroplane Looks Like A Vessel Batman Would Dig

What you see here is NOT a Bat boat from any Batman movies. It is a Hydroplane from young British boat maker Chris Philips. Called Alpha Centauri Hydroplane, this thing might very be worthy of the Dark Knight’s seafaring vessel. This thing is quick, like super quick and it sounds absolutely like a Chevy on waters. And that’s no surprise because, this 27-foot (8.3 m) watercraft is powered by a 9.4L Chevrolet big block motor that pushes out 750 horses which, with a Scott Jet twin stage sprint jet, enables it to make 60 knots (69 mph or 111 km/h) across the open waters. Aston Martin Now Has Boats And It Is Also Going Deep With A Submarine Too

OK. We are going to make this quick. Aston Martin is extending its reach beyond land to the water. First, it designed a beautiful boat and then, came a submarine. Yes. You are not hearing things. Aston Martin has gotten itself into a partnership with private sub maker, Triton Submarines, to create a “strictly-limited edition vehicle” under a project called Neptune. While it is being unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show (as was the boat), very little is known about this Aston Martin-touched Triton Low Profile three-person sub. Tirrenia Launches DC Superheroes-themed Ships, Starting With Batman

It is unlikely that Batman will announce his presence on a mass transportation system such as a ship and surely, billionaire Bruce Wayne won’t either, but for fans of this fictional crimefighting cape superhero/brilliant detective, it will be perfectly fine to be cruising on a classic Batman themed big-ass ferry like the Italy-based Tirrenia ship’s Sharden. In a partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and obviously, DC Entertainment, Tirrenia has begun decorating the sides of DC superheroes-themed Tirrenia ships. Work started earlier this year when Tirrenia’s ship, Sharden, had its sides painted with the classic Batman graphics.
