Someone Saved The Content Of 50,000 NSFW Tumblr Blogs From Being Wiped

When micro blogging and social media platform Tumblr was acquired by Yahoo! Inc., the search giant promised status quo. And status quo it did maintain (well, kind of), but when Verizon Media picked it up in 2017, it changed. Specifically, it changed in 2018 when Tumblr made an akin to end of the world, shocking announcement that it will be getting rid of all NSFW (acronym for Not Safe For Work) contents. Hell freezes over as the prospect of the end of free porn loomed. Continue reading Someone Saved The Content Of 50,000 NSFW Tumblr Blogs From Being Wiped

Ukrainian Artist ‘Unbeautify’ Dolls, Repaints Them To Create Realistic Look

Somewhere in the U.S., one artist has taken upon himself to beautify, ugly, unrealistic action figures and dolls, turning them into desirable collectibles. Meanwhile, somewhere in Europe, one Ukrainian artist is doing the opposite. Olga Kamenetskaya believes that dolls are unrealistic in representing the body proportion and beauty of a real person and thus, she set out to water down the dolls’ beauty. Not sure if she is doing anything to the body shape though, but I guess, as far as body shape goes, it has been taken care by Lammily. In fact, Lammily does a brilliant job in presenting a doll with a look that won’t mislead our young ones with unrealistic beauty. Not For Hygiene Freaks: Hotel In China Turns Hot Spring Into A Human Hot Pot

Would you eat while you are in a pool, a hot tub, or hot spring? Personally, I would not. Eating while in any of the aforementioned water body is, to me, like peeing inside a pool. It’s gross and unhygienic. But I guess that’s just me because, First World Hotel in Hangzhou in Zhejiang province, China, seems nonchalant about it. The hotel had, in anticipation of Lunar New Year, turned one of its hot spring pools into a human ‘hot pot’ of sort that would probably put a smile on Hannibal Lecter’s face – if the fictional cannibalistic psychopath love hot pot. Sealed Copy Of Super Mario Bros From The 80s Sold At $100K

Never in the world would I have imagined one day video games would become collectibles, much less appreciate in value, when I started gaming three decades ago, but here we are, reading about how a sealed copy of Super Mario Bros was sold for a stratospheric amount of $100,150. That right there is a six figure sum. No typo or whatsoever. And mind you, folks, that was for a copy of video game that’s of a grand old age of 30 something. Imagine that! This Lancia Stratos Was Rebuilt From A LEGO Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS

Alternate build for LEGO and LEGO Technic sets aren’t new. The LEGO Technic 1974 Lancia Stratos Stradale HF you see here is one of them, BUT it isn’t an out-of-the-box official alternate build you expect. It is actually an awesome alternate build of the LEGO Technic 42056 Porsche 911 GT3 RS from two years ago. Is your mind already blown? It should because, this is absolutely crazy. What’s even more incomprehensible is, the build reuses all the original pieces that came with the 42056 to rebuilt into the iconic wedge-shaped, mid-engine rally monster. Heinz Turns Ketchup Into Exquisite Caviar For Valentine’s Day

Whether you are a vegan, or someone who can’t afford or simply not willing to splurge on caviar, you are going to dig this ‘new kind’ of caviar: Heinz Ketchup Caviar. Heinz Ketchup Caviar is exactly what it says it is. It is caviar, well, kind of, but instead salt-cured roe (i.e. fish eggs) from sturgeons, the little pearls that caviar is recognized by are actually just ketchup.
