Dyson Amino Leave-in Scalp Bubble Treatment

You know things are getting serious when a company known for sucking dust out of carpets starts talking about scalp barrier function. Yet here we are. Dyson Amino is Dyson Beauty’s first scalp treatment, and yes, it involves barley grown on Dyson’s own farms. Because apparently, engineering your hair tools is not enough. Now they want to engineer your roots.

Dyson Amino is a lightweight, foaming leave-in treatment designed to hydrate, protect, and strengthen the scalp. It uses something called the Amino11 blend—barley paired with 11 amino acids—along with niacinamide, Ectoin Natural, and caffeine. The promise? Healthier scalp, stronger-looking hair, and less drama up top.

The numbers are ambitious. Clinically proven to reduce hair loss by 63%, excess oil by 62%, and visible flakes by 88%. It also boosts scalp moisture by up to 65% immediately. Not bad for something that comes out as bubbles.

Application is straightforward: part hair, pump about 8 to 10 times, massage in, and carry on with life. No rinse. No heavy residue. Ninety-four percent said their hair did not feel greasy or sticky afterward, which is crucial because nobody wants “engineered shine” in the wrong way.

Dyson Amino comes in a 75 ml bottle for £46, with refills at £40. Farming and beauty may seem worlds apart, but if this works, your scalp might not care where the barley came from.
