Not going to lie. Sometimes Jacob & Co. makes watches that feel more like flexes than timepieces, and this new one is exactly that. Folks, meet the Jacob & Co. Bugatti Tourbillon Baguette, a wrist-borne piece of mechanical madness that takes Bugatti’s obsession with over-engineering and stuffs it into a 52 x 44 mm case wrapped in diamonds. Yes, diamonds.

The Bugatti Tourbillon itself already had a trick up its sleeve: a sapphire-crystal engine block with 16 moving pistons powered by a 22.37 mm crankshaft. Push a button and, voilà, you’ve got a tiny V16 engine doing piston ballet on your wrist. It also packs Jacob & Co.’s fastest-ever 30-second flying tourbillon, an 80-hour power reserve, and a case that borrows cues from Bugatti’s Tourbillon hypercar—down to the grille, radiators, and window-like sapphire side panels.
Now take all of that lunacy, add 17 carats of baguette-cut diamonds plus 18 rubies set into an 18K white gold case, and you get the Bugatti Tourbillon Baguette. The rubies are even arranged to mimic the hypercar’s taillights, which is both unnecessary and completely on brand.
Like the car it’s inspired by, this watch is not about need. It’s about making a statement that says, “yes, my wristwear has a better power-to-weight ratio than your car.” Only 18 of these will ever exist, which makes sense, because any more and the world might implode under the sheer weight of excess.
As for the price… let’s just say that if you have to ask, then you’re definitely not the guy.
