In case you haven’t already heard, Crocs has splashed into Bikini Bottom with a playful new collaboration: the SpongeBob x Crocs Classic Clog Collection. Launched on December 11, 2025, the lineup brings the undersea chaos of SpongeBob SquarePants straight to your feet, with character-themed designs inspired by SpongeBob, Patrick Star, and—unexpectedly stealing the show—Squidward Tentacles.
Each clog reflects its character’s personality. SpongeBob’s pair is loud, cheerful, and unapologetically yellow. Patrick’s version doubles down on goofy pink energy. But it’s the Squidward Classic Clogs that stand out the most. Honestly, without Squidward, I might have passed on this entirely. This feels like one of those rare cases where merchandise based on a side character is more appealing than that of the main star. Squidward’s iconic bulbous nose, permanently disapproving frown, and nautical details like anchor rivets give the clogs a surprisingly strong presence. For the first time, I find myself wanting a pair of Crocs. I’m not even kidding.
Fans can also customize their clogs with SpongeBob–themed Jibbitz charms featuring familiar items such as jellyfish nets, Krusty Krab spatulas, and SpongeBob’s pineapple house. Squidward’s version does not leave much room for customization, but that face more than makes up for it. I mean, that’s just gold!
The clogs retail for US$79.99 per pair. Individual Jibbitz Charms are priced at US$4.99 each and include Patrick Star, SpongeBob, SpongeBob Shock, SpongeBob Curious, and SpongeBob Gary.
