The upcoming NECA Toys 12” Head To Tail Godzilla Action Figure based on the infamous kaiju’s appearance in the 1962 movie King Kong vs. Godzilla may not be an actual vintage item, but boy, is the packaging a true nod to the 1962’s classic. If you are huge fan of the world’s most famous kaiju, I pretty sure you will appreciate the homage to the original 1962 movie. The likeness of the figure to the 1962 Godzilla is one thing, the box is another. I would think the box is what makes it even more collectible. Seriously, just look at the packaging. What you see here is a Hulkbuster x R2-D2 Mash-up Action Figure that has been getting some quite a bit of attention on the Internet. As you can see. Artoo here all pumped and set to smash. Action Figure And Toy Car Of Japanese Man Caught Going At 235 Km/h
Here’s an interesting concept action figure/toy car design by Taiwanese designer Goodzilla based on “the legendary speeding uncle from Japan.” The story went that sometime in March 2018, a 41-year-old Japanese man, Yoshimune Shirai, was arrested for speeding. The man was reportedly going at a mind-bending 235 km/h (146 mph) in a Dodge Challenger. At one point, he even hit 240 km/h (149 mph) to keep up with a Shinkansen train. The action figure you see here is probably what would happen if AllSpark come into contact with a toilet… in Japan. I know it is unlikely that AllSpark will give life to a toilet that is void of any electronics, but if it was possible, this could be it: a robot that can change its form from a Samurai Warrior to a toilet, and vice versa. Now, that is obviously a hilarious take of transforming toy robots, but seriously, any robot with a sound mind will not want to disguise itself as a poop receiver. Hot Toys Re-releases 2015 Hulkbuster With New Jackhammer Arm
In a surprise move, Hong Kong-based collectibles toy maker, Hot Toys, is re-releasing the 2015 Hulkbuster 1/6th Collectible Figure based on the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie, also from 2015. What makes this release interesting is, it comes with a new accessory: a Jackhammer left arm, straight out of the movie when Tony Stark uses it hammer the rampaging Hulk. Bandai Announced Premium Metal Build Evangelion Unit-01 Figure
The iconic mecha, EVA Unit-01, from the cult anime series Evangelion is getting a premium format action figure. Announced last week by Bandai Spirit, this newly designed figure will fall under the brand’s high-end model lineup ‘METAL BUILD’. In addition to the draw of it being premium format, it has another draw here: it is designed and supervised by the original mecha designer of the Neon Genesis Evangelion series, Ikuto Yamashita. S.H.Figuarts And Amazon Slashes The Flash Action Figure’s Price
Heads up, fans of Justice League (especially, the movie). Amazon has slashed Tamashii Nations S.H.Figuarts The Flash Action Figure by 28 percent. It is now selling at $43.48. If you want one, it’d be a good time to bag one. The figure is, of course, based on the Barry Allen/The Flash (played by Ezra Miller) from the Justice League (Atlas Entertainment, 2017) movie.
