Bell & Ross BR01 Laughing Skull Watch Really Has A Skull That Laughs!

Bell & Ross is best known for making square hip again and now, it is probably going to be known as the watchmaker that makes a skull laugh, like literally. Meet the BR01 Laughing Skull Watch, the latest BR series watch that features a dial face of a skull that laughs. OK. Maybe just visually. It does not chuckle like the Crypt Keeper, which is actually a good thing cos’ you don’t want to creep yourself or anyone out. Also, it won’t randomly laugh; the moveable jaw of the skull only moves, revealing a sneak of its inner workings ever so slightly, when you dial the crown. Bell & Ross Unveiled Vintage BR-V2 Steel Heritage Ahead Of Basel 2018

Bell & Ross has been turning out quite a number of new models in recent years, but being a non-industry specific blog, we did not follow up with every single piece, but this duo here is something a little different from what the French watchmaker has to offer. The duo, namely BR V2-92 and BR V2-94, is what we would like call “same, same, but different.” Same because, it is has what makes the Bell & Ross’ design so endearing, i.e. the aerospace-inspired aesthetic. Different because, it has a much weightier vintage flair than most of the watchmaker’s previous design. Continue reading Bell & Ross Unveiled Vintage BR-V2 Steel Heritage Ahead Of Basel 2018

Bell & Ross BR-X1 Aircraft Gauge-inspired Watch Gets Rocker Push Buttons and Skeletal Look

This may not go down well with every Bell & Ross devotees, but here it is, the BR-X1 Skeleton Chronograph, Bell & Ross’ sporty and futuristic take of the iconic BR-01. Inspired by the aeronautical flight instrument of the 21st century fighter airplanes, the BR-X1 retains the signature square design which so many have copied but failed, and unfortunately or not, that’s about the only similarity this new kid has with its forebears. The futuristic look blend with the signature square design may not be everyone’s cuppa, but it is still quite a looker (note: we said ‘quite’). Bell & Ross BR01 and BR03 B-Rocket

French luxury watch maker Bell & Ross has come a long way. it has, in 2011, transit successfully from the air to the land through a special collab Harley-Davidson cruiser and since then, it is associated with both aviation and high-speed motorcycle. complementing its second motorcycle collaboration with Shaw Speed & Custom which have featured recently, is this pair of watches, aptly named BR01 and BR03 B-Rocket. interestingly, the B-Rocket watches are designed after the bike was conceptualized and as expected, the duo features designs that are closely linked to the B-Rocket. kicking off the duo is the 46mm BR01, sporting a large minutes counter, a tachymetric scale on the outer edge of the dial for measuring short periods of time, and three additional counters which provide further information: a 60-second, 30-minute and 12-hour counter. 2011 marked the year Bell & Ross successfully transited from the air to the ground with a special collab with Shaw Harley-Davidson Speed & Custom. three years on, the French luxury watch company is reaffirming their foothold on the ground with the radical and retro-licious B-Rocket Concept Bike. our initial thoughts when we first lay eyes on the B-Rocket were, ‘did Bell & Ross dig something out from its archive to show us?’ nope. apparently not. part airplane, part motorcycle, this two-wheeler is the latest collaboration with Shaw Harley-Davidson featuring unique blend of aerodynamic lines that evoke the experimental aviation of the 60s and the speed bikes that are destined to set records on salt lake at Bonneville.
