If Batman ever needed a watch for his night missions, he might just pick the Bell & Ross BR-X3 Night Vision. The latest in the brand’s X3 saga, this luminous beast takes the brand’s iconic aviation-inspired design and pushes it straight into techno-futuristic territory. It’s called Night Vision for a reason — this thing practically glows in the dark like it’s powered by a miniature reactor.

The BR-X3 Night Vision features a 41 mm case built like a stealth aircraft’s instrument panel, constructed using a sandwich of carbon fiber and SLN resin that Bell & Ross calls LUM-CAMO. Even the green rubber pillars on the sides glow in the dark. Inside, the watch houses the BR-CAL.323 manufacture automatic movement made by Kenissi, complete with a 70-hour power reserve and COSC certification.
Its dial looks like it belongs in a jet cockpit. A skeletonized X-shaped construction reveals the movement beneath a smoked, green-tinted sapphire crystal, while green Super-LumiNova accents light up the numerals, indexes, and hands. There’s also a large date window at 3 o’clock and a power reserve indicator at 9 o’clock. The back showcases the decorated oscillating weight through yet another green-tinted sapphire crystal — because subtlety clearly isn’t on the flight plan.
Finished with an open-worked black rubber strap, the BR-X3 Night Vision is water-resistant to 100 meters and limited to just 250 pieces worldwide. It’s less of a wristwatch and more of a wearable mission console.
The Bell & Ross BR-X3 Night Vision is available now for US$14,100. Now, you know why we reference to Batman in the intro? That’s because you probably need Bruce Wayne’s kind of wealth to comfortably afford it without having to eat instant bowl noodles for the rest of the year.
