Have you heard? Universal Pictures is doing a live-action reimagining of DreamWorks Animation’s How to Train Your Dragon. Gasp! A live-action How to Train Your Dragon. Imagine that! I can already hear the CGI servers wheezing in the distance. But while we wait to see how many terabytes it takes to render a Night Fury in live action, LEGO has swooped in with something you can build by hand—and no rendering farm required.
Say hello to the LEGO Icons How to Train Your Dragon: Toothless (10375), a surprisingly grown-up 784-piece building set that’s technically made for adults. I say “technically” because just look at that adorable face—this thing could’ve easily wandered off from the kids’ section. But nope, it’s legit Icons material.
This display-worthy Toothless features all the key details: a saddle for Hiccup, a repaired tail fin (courtesy of friendship), and articulated joints so you can pose him mid-flight, mid-pounce, or mid-“please feed me fish.” Speaking of which, yes, it comes with fish and even plasma blast attachments, because, my friends, dramatic flair.
When complete, Toothless stands 16 cm tall (about 6.5 inches), which is just big enough to perch on your shelf and judge your adulting skills with those soulful green eyes.
You can pre-order the set starting June 2, 2025, or grab it in-store and online starting July 1 for US$69.99. And yes, it’s arriving just in time for the live-action movie’s debut on June 13, which gives you just enough time to build your own dragon before the internet melts down over whether Toothless is “anime enough” in real life.
