That’s right. It is a kiddie ride, but like the company’s other “oversized” luxury kiddie ride we featured here previously, the Aston Martin DB5 Junior can totally accommodate an adult and a child side-by-side.

The Aston Martin DB5 Junior is exquisite as it sounds. Featuring an accurate (small) replica of the real-deal – thanks to the reference 3D scan of an original DB5, it stretches around 3 meter long and 1.1 meter wide (9.8 x 3.6 feet).

The miniature car further boasts an aluminum honeycomb chassis and composite body, and it is powered an electric drive that produces a whopping 5 kW (6.7 bhp) which is put to good use at the rear wheels – just the actual DB5.

On the inside, it gets a pair of integrated bucket seat. Believe it or not, this mini me of 1963 classic makes a top speed of 30 mph (48 km/h).

When fully charged, the swappable battery offers between 10 and 20 miles (16-32 kilometers) range and it does have regenerative braking too.

For the power hungry, there is a Vantage model that has a power boost driving mode that puts out 10 kW (13.4 bhp). This performance model also touts premium features like, wait for it… Limited-Slip Differential (LSD), and a carbon fiber body. And yes, we are still talking about kiddie ride here.

Reservation (yes, ‘reservation’!) of the Aston Martin DB5 Junior starts today. The Aston Martin DB5 Junior has a starting price of £35,000 (roughly US$46,274) while the Aston Martin DB5 Vantage Junior starts at £45,000 (about US$59,492).
