LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier

Every company knows how to make and sell face masks. But LG is taking face mask to the next level with the LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier. LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier is a high-tech face mask that will make you feel like a dystopia future is imminent (but not as much as this one). And yes, it is absolutely real even though the images here may be rendered.

LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier is part of LG’s personal clean air solutions that includes the PuriCare Mini. It features two replaceable H13 HEPA filters, Dual Fans and patented Respiratory Sensor that detects the cycle and volume of the wearer’s breath and adjusts the dual three-speed fans accordingly. Basically, the adapting variable speed fans are to make breathing easier.

This futuristic face mask promised to provide wearer with clean, filtered air while providing ergonomic seal with minimal air leakage around the nose and chin (because, “extensive facial shape analysis”).

Both the filters and ear straps are replaceable and they are totally recyclable, said LG.

The mask is juiced by an 820 mAh battery which LG said is good for up to 8 hours of operation in low mode or 2 hours on high, and it comes with a case to store the mask when not in use. The case further boasts UV-LED lights to kill harmful germs and recharges the mask. Plus, it can push notification to the LG ThinQ mobile app when the filters need to be replaced.
