Well, what do you know? Huawei Mate60 Pro and Mate60 Pro+ are not the only devices rocking the new Huawei-designed and China-made Kirin chip. There is the Mate X5 too. That’s right. Huawei has also launched (note, it’s launched, not announced) a new folding phone without any fanfare.

Huawei Mate60 and Mate60 Pro are not the only devices to run on self-designed and produced chips. Recently, the giant that has been sanctioned by the U.S. has revealed yet another model in the series, simply known as Huawei Mate60 Pro+ [CH].

China’s mobile phone industry was buzzing with the news of the Huawei Mate 60 Pro [CH] last week. The device was supposed to be revealed in an event set on September 12 but it quietly went on sale last week. That’s not the reason for the buzz, although it was part of the reason.

Huawei is not done with phones yet. Last week, the telecommunication equipment maker revealed its latest folding phone and it may not please crease haters.
