Guy Made A Crazy Cool VFX Video To Sell His Old SUV And Won The Internet

There are some who sell used cars and then there is visual effect artist Eugene Romanovsky who, instead going through traditional medium like online classified ad, or selling to used car dealers, created a pretty out-of-this-world video to peddle his 1996 Suzuki Vitara SUV. Yup. That’s right. A Vitara, one of earliest incarnation of SUV by the Japanese automaker. However, the real star attraction of this 21-year-old SUV is not quite the vehicle itself (a ride which he described as his “best friend” for the last ten years. Cute), but it is the VFX-touched video that details its key features including chunky 235/75R15 off-road tires, the 96 HP 1.6L injection engine, a new exhaust converter that would make it “friendly to environment,” and manual gearbox with low gear. Porsche Cayenne S Diesel Set New Record Towing A 285-Ton A380 Jetliner

Over 500 horsepower and no less 1,570 lb-ft (2,129 Nm) of torque. Those are what it takes to tow the world’s largest passenger aircraft, the Airbus A380, but little did we know that a luxury vehicle like the Porsche Cayenne S Diesel can do the same. Granted, while it can, it obviously isn’t meant to do this on daily basis, much less doing it several times in a day. However, that didn’t stop Porsche from using the marque’s relatively puny 4.8 meters (16 feet) vehicle to tow the massive 73 meters (240 feet), 284 tons Air France A-380 out of Air France state-of-the-art engineering hangar at Paris Charles de Gaulie Airport and in the process, setting a new world record for the Heaviest aircraft pull by a production car last month, on April 21, 2017. Red Cross Land Rover Has A Drone That Can Land Even Vehicle Is Moving

As Amazon plots the ambitious plan to have a drone mothership for its future delivery drones, the rest of the world, specifically the automobile industry, remains pretty much grounded and thinking of how best they could leverage on this drone technology in automobiles. The earliest we recall was the three-year old concept from Renault, but in recent months, there was a leap in exploration of this relationship between an automobile and a drone. Jaguar Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations’ Project Hero is one of such endeavor to surface this month. Continue reading Red Cross Land Rover Has A Drone That Can Land Even Vehicle Is Moving

Meet The First Off-Roader From Mercedes-Maybach, G 650 Landaulet

Folks, this is the Mercedes-Maybach G 650 Landaulet, the first off-roader from Mercedes-Maybach sub-brand and it looks, well, pretty much like the G-class. If you are into off-roaders and want all the luxury you can on a car while feeling the rush of air, then this is it. Its Mercedes-AMG V12 Biturbo motor, outputting 630 horses and 738 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque, give it more than enough grunt to take on the beaten trails while Mercedes’ 4WD technology along with portable axles paired to 22-inch 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels wrapped in 325/55 R 22 tires, affords it with ample ground clearance to overcome extreme obstacles. Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio: A Family Mover That Makes 0-60 in 3.6s

It is good know that automobile marques other than luxury brand names are not shy in injecting more omph into family-orientated rides. The 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio, particularly the Stelvio Quadrifoglio, is one such shiny example. Buried under the dual vented bonnet is an all-aluminum 2.9L bi-turbo V6 engine, the most powerful yet from the Italian marque, producing 505 horsepower and generating a flat torque curve with 443 lb-ft (600 Nm!) of torque that enables this screaming Italian family mover to rocket from zero to sixty miles an hour (97 km/h) in mere 3.9 seconds and sending it on its way to a top speed of 177 miles an hour (285 km/h) while staying sure-footed regardless of the curves ahead, thanks to the Q4 all-wheel-drive system. Scion Sport Crossover Concept Lives On As 2018 Toyota C-HR

Toyota may have pull the plug on Scion, but the intriguing C-HR Concept the now-defunct marque debuted last year continues to live on today as 2018 Toyota C-HR, inheriting much of the Scion’s design. If you ask me, this Coupe High-Rider, as it is also known as, looks a lot less ‘bulkier’ then original concept while retaining the boldness the original. I would say, it is now more ‘earthly’, if you know what I mean. In fact, we thought it looks a lot like the Nissan Juke but only larger, which means it is essentially a sports crossover aimed at the same segment as the Juke. Subaru Goes Big With New VIZIV-7 SUV Concept For North America Markets

Subaru may not make a huge ding in the auto industry, but that does not mean the automaker isn’t trying to make an impact in the automobile market. While its performance cars today did not shine as brightly as the GC-era Rexes, it is making headway in other more ‘practical’ aspects, such as addressing real consumers need for practicality like safety, economy and space, one car at a time and the one car today is the Subaru VIZIV-7 SUV Concept, which debuted at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show. We wouldn’t say the Subaru VIZIV-7 SUV Concept is a stunning beauty; it looks okay but the size there though, is pretty mind-blowing. Inkas Hudson APC Is Toyota Land Cruiser Put To Good Use

If you live in an obscenely huge mansion on an obscenely enormous compound, then you probably need a SWAT team to safeguard your property and if so, you will be needing this vehicle, the Inkas Toyota Land Cruiser Armored Vehicle. Just saying… Continue reading Inkas Hudson APC Is Toyota Land Cruiser Put To Good Use

Dodge Durango Shaker Concept Is A Frankenstein Of Various Dodge Rides

So settling down with a family compels you to forgo your sports car dream in favor of ‘more practical’ minivan or SUV? Well, that’s not be all and end all, really. Why? Just take a look at the Dodge Durango Shaker Concept. The normally tamed Durango SUV is one of the six Mopar-customized creations to hit up SEMA 2016 and it broke every rules in the SUV rule book. First, it is not tame at all – if its 6.4L HEMI engine lurking under the functional custom shaker hood that kicks out 485 horses and 475 lb-ft of torque, can help it and it surely don’t look tame either – thanks to the various custom works that practically turn it into a lean, mean SUV.
