Yamaha Motor has just announced the company will introduced a spanking new recreational off-road vehicle model for 2018, a 4-seat SxS designated 2018 Yamaha ‘Side-by-Side’ Wolverine X4. It promise to bring “new levels of capability, comfort and confidence to the leisure and light utility markets.” Aesthetically, it is pretty much the cool sport vehicle we have come to know and it is as compact as ever, affording maneuvering around narrow forested trails. any object with the word ‘tactical’ tagged to it, always sound pretty manly and the 2013 Yamaha Tactical Black Rhino 700 you see here is no exception. it may not be as brutal as the RZR XP 1000, but it sure is a freaking cool looking ride. powered by a 686cc liquid and oil cooled, fuel injected four-stroker, mated to an automatic transmission with dual-range drive for ease of operation across virtually any terrain, the 2013 Yamaha Tactical Black Rhino 700 features an alluring (well, at least to most man folks) all-matte-black paint work, a lightweight steel frame structure, bucket seats with three-point seat belts, three-position 4WD for switching between 2WD, limited-slip 4WD and fully locked differential 4WD, fully independent four-wheel suspension with 7.3 inches of travel at the rear and a generous ground clearance of 12.1 inches, all-round disc brakes, sealed drive case for true off-road durability, and awesome looking one-piece cast aluminum wheels. 2014 Polaris RZR XP 1000 UTV

just spent a good 10 minutes and 23 seconds watching Pro-Lite racer RJ Anderson tearing up the dirt and making jumps that Evel Knievel would approve of with a modified 2014 Polaris RZR XP1000 UTV, dubbed the XP1K. while we don’t expect ourselves to do what Anderson did, but it sure looks like the 2014 Polaris RZR XP1000 UTV would be a hell of an off-road ride. in any case, it sure beats you mundane daily commute between your suburban home and jam-pack city office in your Prius and could be a worthwhile stress-reliever if you are up to some serious off-road driving. updated with a 999cc (1-liter) 4-stroke twin-cylinder engine with double overhead cam, the XP 1000 has 107 horses on the tap and an automatic gearbox to put those ponies to all four wheels (or two, if the situation calls for it), and can zip from zero to 50 mph (80 km/h) in 5.33 seconds.
