The beauty about stateside is, pickup trucks are not just workhorses. They are a symbol of versatility, ruggedness, and all-thing adventure. It was with these qualities in mind that Tundra was born. The Tundra here is not a natural phenomenon; it is Toyota’s pickup truck.
And the latest generation of Tundra, the 2022 Toyota Tundra, promised to carry on the tradition and more. The all-new Toyota Tundra comes standard i-FORCE 3.5L twin-turbo V6 that produces up to 389 horsepower and 479 lb-ft (649 Nm) of torque.
When paired with the bell-housing motor system, i-FORCE MAX powertrain, up to 437 horses and 583 lb-ft (790 Nm) are available at your disposal. i-FORCE MAX, btw, is basically a hybrid drivetrain.
i-FORCE MAX will come standard on the 2022 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro. It will be offered as an option on trims including Limited, Platinum, and 1794. With that said, the next-gen Tundra has as much as 12,000-pound max towing capacity to satisfy even the most demanding users.
Whether it is with a hybrid drivetrain or not, the 2022 Tundra will be mated to a new 10-speed automatic transmission, featuring a sequential shift mode, uphill/downhill shift logic, and TOW/HAUL driving modes.
The 2022 Toyota Tundra Pickup further features a new interior with all creature comfort imaginable, a slew of tech features, along with towing aids, off-road enhancements, an all-new multimedia system with Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, and more.
As far as the options available to you, there are two different four-door layouts to choose from, plus a variety of bed lengths.
