If you don’t already know, the next Chinese zodiac, a.k.a. Shēngxiào—or Jūnishi, or Sibiji, or Con giáp, or Naksat Pi, or Sak, or Arvan khiliin bilig, depending on which country you are in—is the horse. So, as always, LEGO is getting ahead and preparing you to welcome the Spring Festival with a very, very cool set, the LEGO Galloping Horses Canvas (80119).

This part-display, part-kinetic sculpture set uses 1,650 pieces to create a stunning horse-themed model featuring four brick-built galloping horses against a canvas with a printed brush painting of, you guessed it, four galloping horses.
The brick-built horses appear to materialize from the painting, symbolizing the traditional blessing of “马到成功” (or “馬到成功” for those living in Taiwan and Malaysia), which literally translates to “when the horse arrives, success follows (or is achieved).” The phrase is a Chinese idiom that conveys “instant success” or “victory upon arrival.” The legs of the four brick-built horse toys are poseable, but LEGO did not stop there. Turn the handle off to the side, and you make the horses move as if they are galloping out of the painting.
Also, since many Asian cultures, including, of course, Chinese, hold the number 8 as a symbol of good fortune, the combination of the four toy horses and the four painted horses—which total 8—further symbolizes good fortune. Rounding up the model are two minifigures: a painter and a person in a Year of the Horse costume, along with a horse painting on a scroll.
When completed, the model measures over 9 in. (23 cm) high, 11.5 in. (30 cm) wide, and 12.5 in. (32 cm) deep. The LEGO Galloping Horses Canvas (80119) is set to drop on January 01, 2026, for US$109.99. Meanwhile, eager fans can secure a copy by pre-ordering it on LEGO.com.
