LUMOS, a Singapore-born lifestyle tech brand best known for its projectors, has bold ambitions. First, it dabbled in digital cameras, which even big brands stayed away from, and now it wants to cover the tablet market. And as before, it is doing so in an affordable way. Folks, meet the new LUMOS tablets.

The lineup consists of four models: the regular LUMOS Tablet, Tablet Pro, Tablet Ultra, and Kids Tablet. Rather than chasing flagship specifications and fancy materials, the Singapore brand is focusing on everyday essentials, with options for entertainment, productivity, and even the youngest users.
Starting with the regular LUMOS Tablet, it packs a 10.1-inch IPS display, 8 GB RAM, 64 GB storage, an 8 MP camera, and up to eight hours of battery life. It also supports wireless screen mirroring and comes with WPS Office for basic productivity.
A step up is the LUMOS Tablet Pro, which keeps the 10.1-inch screen size but upgrades it to a 1920 × 1200 Full HD IPS panel. It runs Android 15 and offers 128 GB storage, dual 4G SIM support, Wi-Fi 6, and up to eight hours of battery life. LUMOS advertises 18 GB RAM, although that figure comprises 6 GB of physical memory and 12 GB of virtual RAM. The tablet also weighs just 490 g (1.08 lbs).
For those who want more screen real estate, there’s the new LUMOS Tablet Ultra. This is the most capable model of the bunch, featuring a 12-inch 2000 × 1200 IPS display, Android 16, 256 GB expandable storage, dual 4G SIM support, and Wi-Fi 6. It also boasts an 8,000 mAh battery with quick charging and 5 MP and 13 MP cameras. Its advertised 32 GB RAM combines 8 GB physical and 24 GB virtual memory.

Then there’s the LUMOS Kids Tablet, designed for children aged 3 to 9. It has a smaller 7-inch IPS display, 32 GB storage, Android 15, a 3,500 mAh battery, and a protective, drop-resistant frame with an integrated carrying handle. The dedicated kids interface, educational apps, and parental controls should make it a more suitable introduction to tablets for younger users.
Interestingly, the three main tablets can also double as basic productivity machines with an optional accessory bundle comprising a Bluetooth keyboard, mouse, stylus, and protective case. It’s not quite a laptop replacement, but for typing assignments, browsing, and handling documents, it could be a practical alternative.
All four tablets come with a one-year local warranty and dedicated customer support in Singapore.
The LUMOS tablets are available through the brand’s official store. The Kids Tablet sells for S$139 (~ US$108), followed by the regular Tablet starting at S$149 (~US$116), the Tablet Pro at S$269 (~US$210), and the Tablet Ultra at S$449 (~US$350). The optional productivity accessory bundle starts at approximately US$62 (S$79). These are promotional prices, so they may change after the sale.
