It’s not clickbait. Acerpure Inc., which makes home appliances to improve quality of life, is a subsidiary of Acer Group and hence I am not wrong to say Acer has an air purifier. Anyhoo, the Acerpure Pro Vero Air Purifier is not Acerpure’s first. The company isn’t new either.
Acerpure has an impressive catalog that includes hairdryers, air circulators (basically, fans), air purifiers, water purifiers, vacuum cleaners, and even air monitoring solutions for commercial spaces. The Acerpure Pro Vero Air Purifier is one of the brand’s latest air purifiers aimed at eco-conscious consumers.
It is made with 35% post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials, cutting CO2 emissions by 20%. Furthermore, it also uses water-based ink and recyclable packaging. How’s that for sustainability? Pretty awesome, IMHO.
Moving on… the Acerpure Pro Vero Air Purifier is a minimalist-looking device, presented in a compact, matte white finish with an intuitive LED touch panel. It boasts some features too. PM2.5 air quality sensor detects indoor particles and adjusts the purifier’s mode automatically. It has three light indicators (green/yellow/red) for air quality and a “Green Mode” that optimizes energy use.
Oh, eco-consciousness is not limited to the production and hardware; it also touts efficient performance achieved through a DC motor that has high performance but with low energy consumption. This motor offers Quiet Mode that reduces noise and lighting so as not to disturb your sleep.
In the filtration department, it boasts a 3-in-1+ HEPA filter with activated carbon cotton, enabling it to remove 99.9% of PM2.5 particles, harmful gases, allergens, and 99% of formaldehyde.
The Acerpure Pro Vero Air Purifier was first launched in Taiwan (in May) and it will be reaching out to Pan Asia Pacific and EMEA regions. In case anyone’s wondering, it sells for NT$8,990 [CH] in Taiwan which works out to be around US$278 based on the current going rate.
