Amusement Workstation at Yomiuriland Theme Park

An amusement park in Tokyo gets innovative during the pandemic. Along with the announcement of the reopening on September 19, Yomiuriland has revealed a new package called “Amusement Workstation” which the park has started taking reservations since October 15.

The package includes an hour-long ride on the park’s Ferris wheel with no extra charge as well as the use of a “poolside workstation.” You can choose your time slogging away at the poolside and have a Zoom meeting on the Ferris wheel.

WiFi is available onboard the Ferris wheel cabin. Though there is no mention of a power outlet. It probably has none and so, you’d better make sure your laptop and all other gadgets are topped for the work in the air.

WiFi and power outlet are available at the poolside work area, however, which also includes a table, two chairs, and a pair of poolside deck chairs.

Other perks include a free towel ticket for the Oka No Yu facility located outside of the park, and Yomiuri Golf Garden 20 balls free, and up to 3 rental clubs. The latter does not include the admission fee which costs 500 yen (US$5).

Of course, you will also get to visit the different attractions in the park if you get sick of working.

The Amusement Workstation costs 1,900 yen (about US$18) on weekdays and 2,000 yen (approximately US$19) on weekends per person.
