Bowers & Wilkins 600 Series was first introduced as an “affordable” option for audiophiles on a tad tighter budget. This year, the British loudspeaker maker celebrates the 600 Series’ quarter of century and what better way to do it than to introduce a 600 Series Anniversary Edition?
The 600 Series Anniversary Edition comprises of the 603 S2 floor standing loudspeakers (US$2,000 a pair), 606 S2 stand mount speaker (US$900 a pair), 607 S2 bookshelf loudspeaker (US$700 a pair), HTM6 S2 center speaker (US$800), and two subs: ASW610XP 500 watt subwoofer (US$1,500), and ASW610 200 watt sub (US$800).
Whether you are a music lover who just want to hook up a pair of speaker to your trusty turntable and pre-amp, or a movie buff who demands a full-on home theater system setup, the Bowers & Wilkins 600 Series Anniversary Edition will have you covered.
Save for the subwoofers, which only comes in a choice of black or white, the loudspeakers are offered in black, white, or oak. While B&W claimed that they are affordable, you ought to understand “affordability” is based on B&W’s own product benchmark.
That said, expect to dole out pretty pennies for these audio delight. But I think you have already noticed that. You can learn more about the Bowers & Wilkins 600 Series Anniversary Edition HERE.
Oh, it looks like B&W also have a 600 Series Anniversary Edition Theater setup going for US$4,300. It is 5.1 channel package comprising of 603 S2, 607 S2, HTM6 S2 and the ASW610 – Anniversary Edition, of course.
