Never mind that athletes at the Tour de France do not race on trifold bicycles, because Brompton is celebrating this year’s Tour de France with a couple of iconic trifold bikes in Tour de France–inspired schemes. Two models have received the prestigious race treatment: the C Line and the P Line.

Kicking off the duo, the OG go-anywhere folding bike gets a full dose of Tour de France design flair. This includes a saddle with Tour de France print, a Tour de France logo on the mudguard flap, and a frame that looks like a graphic pattern at first glance. Look again, though, and it reveals a subverted race-day photograph by Pauline Ballet, featuring fans and riders mid-action. Now that is a proper homage to the race. And that’s not all. You may not be racing along scenic French coastlines, but the bike cheers you on with decals exclaiming “Allez! Allez! Allez!”, so you still get the parade-stage energy.
Other highlights include a Brompton Toolkit that fits neatly inside the bike frame, Brompton ergonomic grips in Leaders Yellow, a yellow Brompton logo, a black lacquer frame with the photo print, a front frame and fork finished in Leaders Yellow with Tour de France branding, a rear frame and handlebar support in black, and Schwalbe Marathon Race tires with tanwalls.
The Brompton x Tour de France P Line, on the other hand, takes a sportier approach with a Tour-inspired palette in Sprinters Light Green. It features a Brompton x Tour de France puncture pouch, a matching mudguard flap, the race logo on the Sprinters Dark Green front frame, and a frame printed with subverted race-day photography by Pauline Ballet and Charly Lopez. The design is capped off with “Allez! Allez! Allez!” decals, plus rider, fan, distance, and elevation stats printed directly onto the frame.
Additional touches include a Brompton King of the Mountains saddle, Brompton ergonomic grips in Leaders Yellow, a yellow Brompton logo, ColourLab roller wheels in titanium grey, a raw titanium rear frame and fork, a handlebar support pin in Future White, a Sprinters Dark Green front frame support, and Schwalbe One tires with tanwalls.
The Brompton x Tour de France Trifold C Line is available for £1,549, while the Brompton x Tour de France Trifold P Line goes for £2,649 (US$4,150). The C Line version does not appear to be available stateside.
