If you think about it, Evangelion and art are very much related, I mean, afterall, the anime started as sketches. So, how it is only now that the franchise has partnered with Copic, a Japanese brand of professional art markers by Too Corporation, is beyond me. But it has happened. Evangelion and Copic have collaborated for the first time, and the product born out of this maiden collab is none other than Copic’s main product, Copic Sketch.

Launched to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Evangelion, this limited collaboration turns the humble alcohol marker into a collectible worthy of Nerv HQ. Copic Sketch, first introduced in 1993 and now boasting a staggering 358 colors, gets a makeover with special edition caps featuring Evangelion-inspired color names and numbers. Yes, your markers now sound like they can pilot an EVA unit.
The headline act is the EVANGELION × COPIC EVA Color Set Premium Edition. It bundles five exclusive collaboration colors: EVA-01 Shinji Blue (B16), EVA-00 Rei Violet (B63), EVA-02 Asuka Red (R24), EVA-06 Kaworu Gray (C-1), and EVA-08 Mari Pink (RV11), along with 20 additional Copic Sketch colors for full creative chaos.
The marker bodies are printed with the collab logo and custom color names. You also get six honeycomb-shaped illustration cards and six matching coloring sheets. The box itself comes in a special aurora-foil finish that gleams like it just emerged from a launch bay.

For those who prefer a lighter loadout, there is the EVANGELION × COPIC Copic Sketch 6-piece Set, available in five pilot-themed versions. Each includes one exclusive Evangelion marker, five standard Copic Sketch markers, a coloring sheet, and a postcard. The packaging uses a clear card design that looks display-ready straight out of the box.
The sets already saw advance sales from February 21 to 23, 2026, at the Evangelion 30th anniversary event at Yokohama Arena and via the official online store.
As for the price, the Premium Edition goes for 16,500 yen (approx. US$110). Meanwhile, the 6-piece Set at 3,630 yen (approx. US$24). You can find more details of the availability at copic.jp [JP].
