The Khadas Mind 2 is like the Swiss army knife of portable workstations, but for people who want to fit a high-performance PC in their pocket without looking ridiculous. At 435 grams (0.96 lbs) and just 2 cm (0.79”) thick, it could almost slip into your jacket without anyone noticing—unless they’ve got a magnet handy, in which case they’ll be fascinated by the instant SSD slot. Powered by Intel Core Ultra processors and equipped with Thunderbolt 4, it’s prepared for everything from AI processing to hooking up all your peripherals with a single cable.
To be fair. Calling it a “portable workstation” is just a fancy way of calling it a mini PC. But I have to give it to Khadas for coming up with a design that looks this good. Anyhoo… the Mind 2’s modular system is the tech equivalent of building blocks for grown-ups. Need more GPU power? Add the eGPU module.
Want extra ports? The Mind Dock’s got you covered. Can’t live without a screen? Well, that’s in the works too. You’re not just buying a workstation—you’re opening the door to a whole family of possible expansions, ready to evolve with your needs.
It boasts a faster AI processor, Thunderbolt 4 interface, magnetic SSD cover, and built-in 5.55 Wh battery that instantly sleeps during a power outage and has 25 hours of standby time. And then there is the Mind Link 256 GT/s ultra-high-speed transmission. Other I/Os include 1x USB4 (40 Gbps), 1x HDMI 2.0 (18 Gbps), and a pair of USB-A 3.2 Gen2 (10 Gbps).
This all comes in a sleek CNC aluminum unibody case that’s stylish and durable, so you can take it anywhere without feeling like you’re lugging around a brick. Depending on your preference, the 16 GB model offers 512 GB SSD, while the 64GB version ups the ante to a whopping 2TB SSD.
Speaking of which… There are three models to choose from: Ultra 5 16 GB Version, Ultra 7 32 GB Version, and Ultra 7 64 GB Version. The Ultra 5 16 GB Version runs on Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processor and is armed with 16 GB LPDDR5 6400 MHz RAM and 512 GB PCIe 4.0 M.2 2230 SSD.
Meanwhile, both the Ultra 7 32 GB Version and the Ultra 7 64 GB Version are powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor, outfitted with LPDDR5 6400 MHz RAM and PCIe 4.0 M.2 2230 SSD. The key differences are the 32 GB model has, well, 32 GB memory and 1 TB storage while the 64 GB version has 64 GB of RAM and 2 TB storage.
Khadas Mind 2 is essentially an uber-sleek laptop with a display and a keyboard.
