Whether or not vinyl record is audiophile-grade is debatable. But one thing for sure is, there exists a turntable that one can only describe as the Rolls-Royce of turntable. The Naim Audio Solstice Special Edition Turntable is one such turntable.
Limited to just 500 units, the Naim Audio Solstice Special Edition Turntable includes the Solstice turntable featuring a next-generation version of the iconic Naim Aro tonearm, an Equinox MC cartridge, Solstice Series Phono Stage, Power Supply, and bespoke accessories set.
The turntable itself further boasts some pretty serious tech, like multiple levels of mechanical decoupling, a magnetic bearing supporting a high-mass, highly polished (super thick!) aluminum platter, and a unique, self-calibrating motor drive system.
Along with this beautiful turntable set up is a commemorative book, as well as a Naim Records True Stereo album newly remastered for vinyl to get you started in the audiophile vinyl sound.
The official website did not list the price, however, according to our source, the Naim Audio Solstice Special Edition Turntable costs a princely sum of US$20,000. Yes. 20 freaking grand for a turntable!
