Nenrinya is back with its annual reminder that winter calories do not count. Enter the Snow-Colored Mount Balm, a holiday-only baumkuchen dressed like a tiny edible mountain freshly dusted with powdered snow. The theme is “a winter ridge lined with fresh powder,” which is fancy talk for “they poured white chocolate all over it.”

This limited-run treat begins with the brand’s signature Mount Balm—crisp on the outside, moist on the inside—and then drenches it in a special Hokkaido-milk white chocolate that melts almost immediately on contact. The result is a cozy, butter-and-milk avalanche that disappears faster than the first snowfall in Tokyo.
It’s available from December 1 to 25 across Nenrinya stores and online. It is available in one size only, perfect for gifting or, realistically, finishing alone.
Price: 1,620 yen (1,500 yen before tax) [JP]. It is also a Japan-only thing, for obvious reasons.
