I feel like international games like the Olympics have lost their hype. I am not sure if it is the proliferation of social media, especially short-form videos, that got us distracted, or if humans in general are less into sports. Or perhaps the hype was quietly flattened by the very ideals the Olympics stand for: unity, peace, and global cooperation, with the ongoing conflicts. Anyhoo, if you are still into it and love a good timepiece, OMEGA has something for you.

Meet the OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M Milano Cortina. Created to celebrate the Olympic Winter Games, this 43.5 mm watch takes its cues from the Milano Cortina 2026 emblem, making it feel right at home on the alpine podium.
The case blends white ceramic with grade 5 titanium, a pairing that feels very on theme for winter sports. It is light, tough, and unapologetically crisp. The surfaces are finished in a mix of polished, brushed, and sandblasted treatments, including the helium escape valve and crown. Around the dial sits a white ceramic bezel with a laser-ablated diving scale in positive relief—and yes, it may be paying homage to the cool sports, but at its heart, it belongs to the depths of the ocean, which, thermally speaking, is not as cold as it would at Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, where the games will be held.
The dial is where things get playful. Crafted from white ceramic, it features laser-engraved frosting with a finger-trace pattern inspired by the “26” in the Milano Cortina emblem. Rhodium-plated hands and indexes are filled with white Super-LumiNova, while the central seconds hand adds a subtle blue gradient that mirrors the competition logo. It is restrained, but not boring.

Flip the watch over, and you will find a stamped Milano Cortina 2026 emblem on the grade 5 titanium caseback, permanently tying this Seamaster to the XXV Olympic Winter Games. Powering it is the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806 with a 55-hour power reserve, certified to the highest Swiss standards for precision and performance. It is worn on an integrated white rubber strap with a titanium buckle, which keeps the whole thing sporty instead of precious.
Other worthy mentions include an anti-magnetic design, master chronometer certified, screw-in crown, unidirectional rotating bezel, and water resistance to 30 bar (300 meters/1,000 feet).
The new OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M Milano Cortina will sell for US$10,500 when it becomes available. The Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 will be held between February 6th and 22nd.
