POPMART, the toy retailer best known for the Molly figurines and blind boxes of a myriad of IPs, has recently released its first-ever LEGO-style building blocks. For its first brick-build set, POPMART has chosen the world of Labubu, a fantasy monster created by artist Kasing Lung.
To call the POPMART Labubu The Monsters Forest Secret Base a set would be wrong because it is actually made up of several sub-sets—or 5 sets to be exact. There is the Playful Home P10000, a home in the form of Labubu’s head that opens up to a detailed interior. The remaining 4 sets are Rolling Germs P10001, Juice Maker P10002, Click-Fix Lab P10003, and Jam Graffiti P10004.
The 4 sets when completed can be displayed in their respective display case which will then allow you to ‘assemble’ to form a huge playset with P10000:
From the product images, the combined set is quite a sight to behold. I would think it is a must-have for any trendy toy collectors and Labubu fans.
The sets come with 6 variants of Labubu mini-figures, a YaYa, and a Spooky mini figures. The Playful Home P10000 is the largest set and comes with 3 figures: 1x Labubu, 1x YaYa, and 1x Spooky, and offers a 1:72 chance to pick up a secret character. The rest of the 4 sets each have a Labubu figure.
The POPMART Labubu The Monsters Forest Secret Base recently went on sale in China [CH] with a starting of 199 yuan (about 27 USD). It is offered as a complete set with all 5 scenes for 1,335 yuan (or around 184 USD).
