If you thought Seiko had run out of collab juice, think again. The Japanese watchmaker has teamed up with none other than London’s Bamford Watch Department for a limited-edition Seiko 5 Sports that screams “retro-future holiday in paradise.” That’s not me making it up; it’s literally Bamford founder George Bamford’s concept.

He wanted a watch that feels like a journey to paradise, and instead of sunscreen and piña coladas, you get skeleton dials and neon orange highlights. Same same, but cooler.
This isn’t your run-of-the-mill Seiko 5 either. Bamford took the ever-popular SKX base and remixed it with a collage of Seiko’s archival designs. The result is a watch that looks like it time-traveled from both 1983 and 2083.
The translucent blue skeleton dial evokes ocean vibes, while the hands and indices are lifted straight from Seiko’s 80s playbook. Look closely under the light, and you might even feel like you’ve unlocked a cheat code for wristwear.
The neon orange accents are the real kicker. Applied on the bezel, hands, and strap, they glow like a nightclub under blacklight. Perfect if you ever want your wrist to double as party décor.

Meanwhile, the 6 o’clock dial position and strap clasp politely whisper “BAMFORD,” reminding you this isn’t just a Seiko, it’s a Seiko that went to London, got a bespoke suit, and came back louder than ever.
Specs-wise, it comes in a 42.5 mm stainless steel case with 13.4 mm thickness, has a Hardlex crystal, a nylon strap, and is water-resistant to 10 bar. Beating inside is the trusty Caliber 4R36 automatic movement with manual winding, offering around 41 hours of power reserve.
Only 2,025 pieces will be made worldwide (325 for Japan). It drops October 10 for 63,800 yen [JP] in Japan or 400 quid (~539 USD) if you fancy ordering from Bamford.
