Motorcycle enthusiasts may have already heard that Ducati will have an electric model joining the family. Well, guess what? Ducati has recently announced electric model, but it is not what you expect and most certainly, it is not the electric bike the company said it is making. Instead, it is an electric scooter and even more ‘shocking’ was, the scooter isn’t designed and/or made by the Italian bike maker. It is essentially a Ducati-branded electric scooter introduced in partnership with Chinese electric bike maker Vmoto, the parent company of the Super Soco brand. Custom Ducati Monster 1200 S ‘Siluro’ Superbike Is A Jaw-dropping Beauty

If you think a Ducati like the naked Monster 1200 S a little too plain for your liking? Well, then you really have check out this one-off custom Monster 1200 S rolled out by Madrid-based bike customizer, XTR Pepo. Named after the much revered 50s Siluro, this modern day iteration of the Siluro is pretty much jaw-dropping looker in our books. While it may not set speed and endurance records like the namesake it has taken on, it is an undeniably cool bike. For this project, XTR Pepo took a 2015 Ducati Monster 1200 S and made it even more naked then it already have – pulling over the covers off the engine and radiator and leaving their internals complete exposed. This rather odd but unique touch may not go down well with every bike lovers and it certainly makes no practical sense (like exposing parts to debris), but it does look kind of cool. Ducati Finally Made Its Scrambler Official, Hits Market in end-January 2015 for $8,495 and Up

Ducati having talking about off-road capable bikes for years and yesterday, the Italian motorcycle maker has finally pull the wraps off the Ducati Scrambler at Intermot 2014 in Cologne, Germany. it has announced not one, not two, but four models under its Scrambler Ducati namesake, and they are: Icon, Urban Enduro, Classic and Full Throttle. regardless of which model you take fancy, they are all powered by the same Euro 3-compliant 803cc L-Twin cylinder engine producing 75 horsepower and 50 lb-ft (68 Nm) of torque, and mated to a six-speed gearbox. you probably can’t get the Ayrton Senna 1199 if you are outside Brazil, but not all hopes are lost cos’ the Italian bike maker has another exclusive, the 2014 Ducati 1199 Superleggera Superbike, that you probably will be able lay your hands on. this limited production model is constructed from a cocktails of titanium (con-rod, exhaust system and more), magnesium (monocle and wheels) and carbon fiber (bodywork and rear sub-frame) to result in the “highest power-to-weight ratio of any production motorcycle in history.” based on the 1199 Panigale R, the Superleggera packs a punch with 200 horsepower coming from a 1,198cc L-twin cylinder with four valves per cylinder that drives a dry weight of mere 155 kilograms (341.7 pounds).
